We take up issues like abuse of Hindus, Hindu deities and anti-national posts on Social Media.
Founded in June 2020 with a mere 8 volunteers who met on Twitter, and since then we have grown to 400+ active volunteers across India, 150k+ followers on Twitter and 4k+ subscribers on Telegram.
Hindu IT Cell is not affiliated to any political party. We are a purely volunteer based organisation with sole purpose of defending Hindu rights in India and world. .
During peak covid, many people discovered there is tremendous amount of abusive posts against Hindus, Hinduism and Hindu deities on social media. Shri Ramesh Solanki was often tagging police handles and requesting to take legal action against such perpetrators. This is when Shri Vikas Pandey along with few other volunteers decided to form a cell dedicated to this cause.
Home Ministry of India launched it’s cybercrime portal earlier in 2020 to make it easier for common people to raise issues. Hindu IT Cell volunteers started filing cyber complaints and criminals on this portal and thus began the era where no crime shall no unnoticed or unpunished.
There are many Hindus who want to take action but are often dependant on others. Hindu IT Cell has taken initiatives to teach people how to take control of the situations and take things in their own hands. No Hindu shall tolerate being abused or subdued anymore.
Our Approach
If you see something online that is Hinduphobic or Anti-national, report to us, reach out to our volunteers or simply tag us or our volunteers on Twitter. We will vet the case with our dedicated legal team and proceed for legal recourse. We also have a dedicated reporting group that reaches out to platform content moderators against criminals.
